Lafe Marcum of Fort Gay
Lafe Marcum, 88, of Fort Gay passed away Saturday, Jan 1 2011 at his home. He was born in Stone Coal. He was a retired coal miner and welder for ACF Industries and a member of the Freewill Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his parents Joseph Marcum and Eliza Herald Marcum. He is survived by Evadean Marcum of Fort Gay, three daughters; Deanna (Tom) Caudill of Fort Gay, Arlene (Tom) Ellis of Pikeville, Vicki (Scott) Naugle of Louisa, three sons; Billy Joe (Barbara) Marcum of Fort Gay, Lafayette (Chris) Marcum Jr. of Michigan City, Indiana, David Wayne (Anita) Marcum of Grove City, OH, three sisters; Stella Marcum and Callie Payne both of Grove City, OH and Carol Gearhart of Columbus, in addition to 13 grandchildren, 13 great grand children and a great great grandson. Services were conducted Tuesday, Jan. 4 2011 at 1 p.m. at the Wilson Funeral Home with Lafe Marcum, John Henry Stevens and Danny Collier officiating.
