Christopher Terry Smith of Princeton, WV
Christopher Terry Smith, 28, of Princeton, West Virginia, formerly of Huntington, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2012. He was born August 17, 1983, and was preceded in death by his father, Charles Terry Smith, of Prichard, West Virginia, and his paternal grandfather, Charles Clifford Smith. Christopher is survived by his mother and stepfather, Beverly and Mike Perry of Jackson, Ohio; his younger sister, Gretchen Smith of Huntington, West Virginia; his special niece, Katelyn Harmon; paternal grandmother Betty Smith; maternal grandparents, Rev. David and Jo Boston; uncles David (Nona) Boston and Dwight (Susan) Boston; stepsister Brittany Perry; stepbrothers Brad Parsley and Brandon Parsley; stepmother Tammy Smith; and devoted friend, Chad Cook. Christopher was a graduate of Spring Valley High School, worked in the insurance field, and cared for and enjoyed people, politics, and campaign volunteering. A graveside service for family and close friends will be conducted by Rev. Ike Nicholson on Sunday, January 22 at 2 p.m., at Bean Cemetery, Prichard, West Virginia, with procession leaving Rollins Funeral Home in Kenova at 1:40 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Christian Church Food Pantry, 1930 Winchester Avenue, Ashland, KY 41101.
