Ernestine Perry Seitz of Sun City Center, Florida

Ernestine Perry Seitz of Sun City Center, Florida left this life on February 16, 2012, and joined her Father in Heaven. Tina was an active member of the Prince of Peace Catholic Church. She was born on April 26, 1931 in Wayne, West Virginia, to Melvin and Gladys Thompson. Tina was a long time resident of Wayne County, Ohio, where she was an educator for several years. After she moved to Florida, she continued to teach in the Winter Haven area until her retirement. She was an avid reader who shared her love of books and learning with others and encouraged them to achieve their highest potential. Tina will be deeply missed by her husband Norman Seitz, her daughters Connie Leona Felts (Carl) of New Marshfield, Ohio, and Jane Ellen Ridinger (Michael) of Medina, Ohio, five grandchildren Rachel Conley (Ken), Melissa Gwinn (Matt), Valerie Clason, Ken Clason (Amber), Christopher Steinman, and three great-grandchildren Landon, Abigail, and Evan Conley. She was preceded in death by a daughter Sandra Lovella Tabor, and two brothers Paul Thompson and Melvin Thompson Jr. Tina is survived by siblings Bruce Thompson (Allene), Ladonna Still, Lois Baisden, Jewel Otta, Danny Thompson (Phyllis), and JoAnne Howard. A Memorial Mass of the Resurrection will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb 24, 2012 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Sun City Center, FL. An internment to follow in West Virginia at a future date.
