Nannie Vaughan of Wayne

Nannie Vaughan, 69, of Wayne, W.Va., went to her Heavenly Home on Saturday, February 4, 2012. She was a caring wife, cherished mother, grandmother, friend and a member of the Bethesda Missionary Baptist Church. She leaves behind her loving husband of 52 years, Jacob Vaughan and six children; Freddie (Anita) Aliff, Connie (Woodie) Spence, Jakie (Jean) Vaughan, Faye (Mark) Mills, Robert (Tina) Vaughan, and Roger (Cynthia) Vaughan. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; Donald Browning, Melissa Aliff, Jonathan and Tyler McClellan, Shawnda Mounts, Tyler Spence, Michael and Crystal Vaughan, Misty Mills-Overbay, David Mills, Brandon Vaughan, Jessica McGowan, Brittney Dunford, Ashley, Joshua, Adam and Matthew Vaughan; and 10 great-grandchildren, Abby, Maddie, Dylan, Justin, Jarrod, McKayden, Brayden, Chase, Hunter, and Levi. She also leaves behind two brothers, George and Tillman Aliff; a sister, Marie Wooten; Debbie Miller who was close to her heart; and a host of dear friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Graveside services were conducted 2 p.m. Monday, February 6, 2012 at the Browning-Vaughan Cemetery with Pastor Roger Perry officiating. Johnson Tiller Funeral Home is honored to serve the Vaughan family.
