Teresa Lynn Grimmett Earp of Myrtle Beach formerly of Man

Teresa Lynn Grimmett Earp, 49, of Myrtle Beach, S.C., formerly of Man, W.Va., departed this life on Monday, March 5, 2012 at her residence. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Morma and Nina Grimmett, and Ira and Mae Vincell; three uncles, Bradly Grimmett, William McQuithy, and Jack Doliver Grimmett; two aunts, Cherly Grimmett, and Clara Mae; and two nephews, Terry Lee Mosley and Christopher Aaron Elkins. Survivors include her parents, Clayton Grimmett of Fort Gay, W.Va., and JoAnn Smith of Myrtle Beach; four sisters, Clara Sue Elkins and Jack Grimmett of Mallory, W.Va., Marie Blanch and husband Timothy of Maryland, JoAnna Kaye Mosley and her husband Jamie of Fort Gay, and Phyllis Rice and her husband Jerry of Conway, S.C.; four brothers, Dwayne Grimmett and his wife Henrietta, and Clayton Grimmett Jr., all of Genoa, W.Va., Ernest Balridge of Myrtle Beach, and Rodney Lee Balridge of Georgia; six nieces; and six nephews.
Teresa was a member of Baker’s Chapel Freewill Baptist Church in Smithville, N.C., and she loved all her family dearly.
Funeral services will be conducted at noon on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at New Hope Community Church with Rev. Larry Osborne and Brother Dwayne Grimmett officiating. Burial will follow in the Grimmett Cemetery, Genoa. Friends may called after 6 p.m. Friday at the church. Johnson Tiller Funeral Home is honored to serve the Grimmett-Earp family.
