Milendar Copley Jr. of Fort Gay
Milendar Copley Jr., 83, of Fort Gay, W.Va. passed away Sunday, April 17, 2011 at V.A. Medical Center in Huntington, W.Va. He was born January 17, 1928 in Camp Creek, W.Va. a son of the late Milendar and Mary Justice Copley Sr.. He was a retired T.V. Repairman, and was a U.S. Army Veteran, he was also a member of Fuller Ridge Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Violet Odeania Short Copley; one daughter, Mary Porter; four sisters, Anne Fluty, Ona “Peachie” Thompson, Ermengarde Blackburn and Alice Marie Blackburn; four brothers, Carl Copley, Edward Copley, Charles Copley and Roy Copley. Survivors include, one daughter, Judy McGinnis of South Point, Ohio; one sister, Georgia Fluty; 2 Grandchildren and one Great Grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at Young Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Adams officiating. Burial will follow at the Webb Community Cemetery in Webb, W.Va.
