Helen Lovins Wade of Sanford, Fl. formerly of Kenova

Mrs. Helen Lovins Wade, 87, of Sanford, FL, formerly of Kenova, WV, went home to be with her Lord on April 8, 2011 at Central Florida Regional Hospital in Sanford. She was the daughter of the late Elmer & Viola Lovins and granddaughter of the late Anthony & Cora Haynie, all of Kenova, WV. Born July 9, 1923 in Kenova, she was preceded in death by her husband John Wade of Tampa, FL; one brother Donald V Lovins of Lesage, WV; and three nephews, Wendell Cade of Hazard, KY, Donald R Lovins and Roger D Lovins, both of Fort Gay, WV. Surviving are one sister, Ruby Cade Ray of Sanford, FL; and 2 nieces, Sharon Butera (Tony) of Sanford and Viola Fowler (Mickey) of Huntington, WV. She was a 1942 graduate of Buffalo High School in Kenova. She worked for many years at the Rose Laundry in Huntington before moving to Florida where she was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Tampa. She moved just two years ago to be close to her sister, Ruby in Sanford. Graveside services will be conducted 2:00 pm Saturday, April 16, 2011 at Haynie Cemetery on Rt. 75. Morris Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
