James L. "Ralph" Robinson formerly of Kenova
James L. “Ralph” Robinson, 53, of Jackson, Ohio formerly of Kenova, WV ended his courageous battle for life on Friday, April 20, 2012 in U.P.M.C. Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Funeral services were conducted 4:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 24, 2012 at Rollins Funeral Home with Rev. Edwin Harper officiating. James was born September 22, 1958 in Huntington, WV. a son of Laura Finley Cole of Kenova. He was a Maintenance coach with Calgon Carbon. He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Navy as a nuclear electrician aboard the submarine USS Sand Lance. The American Legion Post 93 Honor Guard will conduct final rites. James was a graduate of Ceredo-Kenova High School and a member of the Apostolic Life Cathedral. He was preceded in death by his grandparents George and Fannie Finley, his brother George Thomas Robinson and his step-father Donald Cole. Survivors include his beloved wife Kimberly S. Vickers Robinson of Jackson, Ohio; two daughters Lezleigh N. Robinson of Huntington and Lanae N. Robinson of Jackson, Ohio, one son James Trevor Robinson of Jackson, Ohio and a nephew Shawn Robinson. He expressed to his family that he wanted to thank the staff and physicians at UPMC for his their excellent and loving care. He also wanted to thank his and Kim’s coworkers, friends and family and especially the C-K Class of 1976 for all the prayers, support and well wishes, throughout his long illness, as it meant so very much to him.
