Homer Fraley of Doylestown

Homer Fraley, Jr., 76, of Doylestown, died Thursday, May 3, 2012 at Hospice Care Center in Copley. He was born October 29, 1935 in Stiltner, WV to Homer and Flora (Ramey) Fraley and lived most of his life in Doylestown. Homer served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and married Charolette Hale on June 4, 1956 and have been married for 55 years. He retired from the former Packaging Corp. of America in 1995 after 39 years. He was a member of the Ambassador Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Surviving is his wife, Charolette; son, Gerry (Barb) Fraley of Doylestown; daughters, Deb (Tim) Finley of Barberton and Anita (Kenny) Berenyi of Doylestown; grandchildren, Tim (Claudia) Finley of Akron, Alec Finley of Barberton, Ryan Berenyi of Barberton and Kyle and Tyler Berenyi of Doylestown and Melissa Fraley of Doylestown; brother, Ralph “Butch” Fraley of Michigan; and sister, Lucille Windle of Michigan. He was preceded in death by his parents. Services will be held Monday, May 7 at 11:00 a.m. at Gillman Funeral Home, 360 W. Sunset Dr., Rittman with Pastors Mike Decker and Jerry Hackworth officiating. Burial will be at Rittman Cemetery with military honors. Friends may call Sunday, May 6 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
