Jorday Kyler Holyfield of Stepptown

Jordan Kyler Holyfield, son of Jason Adam and Ashlee Jordyn Spaulding Holyfield, of Stepptown, W.Va., was called home to God on Thursday, June 14th 2012, at Children’s Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was 1 year, 4 months and 3 days old. During his brief time among us, he cheered us with his beautiful smile and inspired us with his uncommon courage. He greeted all he saw with a friendly “Hi There”. Kyler is preceded in death by a cousin, Caleb Toney. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Kendyl Jayse Holyfield; maternal grandparents Roscoe (Poppy) and Jacalyn (Nanna) Spaulding; paternal grandparents Leslie (Pa-paw) and Sheila (Ma-maw) Holyfield; paternal uncle and wife, Jeremy and Tabitha Holyfield; maternal aunts and husbands, Whitney and Jamey Copley and Vanessa and Joshua Toney; and uncle and wife Roscoe Spaulding Jr. and Evelyn Kay. Also surviving are Kyler’s cousin; Haleigh and Jarron Holyfield; Trevor and Trenton Copley and Noah Toney, as well as an untold number of other relatives, friends, and admirers. A very special thanks to Carrie, Blake and Baylie Rose for being there when we needed you most. Vistition was at the Richmond-Callaham Funeral Home in Inez, Monday June 18th at 6:00pm. Funeral services were Tuesday June 19th at 1 p.m. also at the funeral home in Inez. Officiating will be Jessie Spaulding of Jennies Creek, W. Va.
