Albert Glen Jackson of Huntington

Albert Glen Jackson, 86 of Huntington, WV, went to be with the Lord, Saturday, June 23, 2012 at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Prince of Peace Baptist Church, Huntington, of which he was a member, by Pastor Phillip Warren and Minister Todd Lovins. Burial will follow in Docks Creek Cemetery, Kenova, WV. Mr. Jackson was born July 6, 1925 in Wayne County, WV a son of the late George and Margaret Mills Jackson. He was a foreman with Polan Industries for 29 years, a self-employed contractor and an avid gardener. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Emogene Tomblin Jackson. Survivors include his wife Recie Wilson Jackson, one son Jeffrey Glen Jackson of Arizona, one daughter and son-in-law, Glenna and Jack Lovins of Catlettsburg, Ky; two step-sons, Larry and Alan Wilcox; and three grandchildren, Todd Lovins, Kevin Lovins and Beverly Lovins Dunlap; one step granddaughter, Leslie and step grandson, Chad, as well as six great grandchildren. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Prince of Peace Baptist Church at 4637 Piedmont Road, Huntington and after 10:00 a.m. Wednesday.
