Lilly "Boots" McConnell Perry of Kenova

Lilly “Boots” McConnell Perry, 79, of Kenova, WV, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2011 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, WV. She was born August 13, 1932 at Radnor, WV, daughter of the late Rightley and Norma Curnutte McConnell. Boots was also preceded in death by her husband, Tony Perry; a son-in-law, Buddy Payne; a brother, Frank Mcconnell: sisters Flora White and husband, Roncie, Edna Stackpole and husband, Ralph, Edith Sharps and husband, Harry; and in-laws, Bill Grieves, Yvonne McConnell, Elizabeth Perry, and Wayne Williamson. Survivors include a daughter, Donna Payne; two sons, Tony Mac Perry and wife, Connie and Buddy Lee Perry and wife, Deborah; a daughter at heart, Georgia Copley; her grandchildren Marc “Pooh” and wife, Hope Payne, Tracie “Sugar Boog” Payne, Brandi “Punkin Puss” and husband, Eric Watts, Shane “Blue Eyed Malungeon” and wife, Savannah Perry, Rachel “ Funny Face” Perry, Bradley Arobogast and Tiffany Wiley; great grandchildren Layken “Squash Blossom” and Mackenzie “Peanut” Payne, Nicholas “Nic Nic” Wiley, Emilee “Tootles” and Landon “Rooster” Watts all of whom were her pride and joy. Surviving siblings include Marie Grieves, Jim McConnell and wife Bettye, Joe McConnell and wife Bess, and Russell McConnell. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews, special friends Lee Lowe, Barb Plybon, and Donna Dempsey, plus many, many, more. She was a wonderful loving person, homemaker and faithful member of Ceredo Church of Christ. Visitation was held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, September 13, 2011 at the Ceredo Church of Christ with services to follow at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at the church. Burial will follow at Community Memorial Gardens, Wayne, WV. Morris Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
