Kelley Browning of Genoa

Kelly Browning, 85, of Genoa, WV went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 31, 2012 at Wayne Continuous Care in Wayne, WV. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, September 3, 2012 at the Morris Funeral Home Chapel, Wayne with Elders Tony Clay & Johnson Queen officiating. Burial followed at Community Memorial Gardens, East Lynn, WV. Kelly was born on August 27, 1927 in Mingo County, a son of the late Paris and Lizzie Bailey Browning. He retired from manufacturing at Orville Products in Orville, Ohio and was a member of Echo Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Woodrow Browning and Truman Browning; four sisters Emma Hannah, Nancy Bailey, Elsi Lackey, and Pearl Messer.
Survivors include his loving wife of 43 years: Imogene Browning; a son Raymond Lee (Mary Ann) Browning of Barboursville, WV; daughter Diana Browning of Dingess, WV; step daughters Ida Adkins of Genoa, WV, Dorcas (Garland) Maynard of Wayne, WV, Cathy (Adam) Napier of Georgia; step sons, Harris (Ruth) Maynard of Dunlow, WV and Gary Dale (Yvonne) Maynard of Dunlow, WV. He is also survived by his brothers Wayne Browning of Dingess, WV, Jess Browning of Dingess, WV and Charley Browning of Ohio; many grandchildren and great grandchildren and his very best friend Garland Maynard.
