James A. "Jim" Goodman of Bradenton, Florida
James A. “Jim” Goodman, 77, of Bradenton, died September 28, 2011. He was born in Wayne County and moved to Bradenton in 1963. He is a veteran of the US Navy during Korea. He attended Bayshore Baptist Church and was a brotherhood director and choir member for many years. Jim attended Marshall University and was a member of DAV Post 18, and a lifetime member of the American Legion, VFW and the Manatee Masonic Lodge. He is survived by his wife of 48.5 years, Linda of Bradenton FL, sons James Jr. (Betty) of Melbourne Fl., Todd (Katie) of Sarasota Fl. and daughter Cyndee (Ed) Cheri of Myakka City, Fl.in addition to four grandchildren. A memorial service was held on Monday, October 3, 2011 at Bayshore Baptist Church in Bradenton. Brown and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory handled the arrangements.
