Rev. Jesse Stroud of Crum

Rev. Jesse Stroud 73, of Crum, WV went home to be with the Lord on October 15, 2012 at his home surrounded by his family and friends. Jesse was born on March 7, 1939 in Wayne Co., WV; he was the son of the late Leonard and Verlie Parsley Stroud. He was a lumberman and a retired coal miner of Marrowbone development. He was former pastor of the Perry Point Church on Jennies Creek. Jesse was preceded in death by his parents as well as a brother, Robert Lee Stroud. Jesse is survived by his wife of 50 years, Musa Spaulding Stroud of Crum, WV as well as a son, Gary (Angela) Stroud of Hunting Town, Maryland and daughter, Drema (Ralph) Perry of Crum, WV as well as 2 granddaughters and 1 great-granddaughter. He also leaves behind his siblings, Ida Mae Marcum of Kermit, WV, Leland Stroud of Kermit, WV, Mary Ransom of Ona, WV, Christine Marcum of Kermit, WV, Maxine Dingess of Kermit, WV, Irene Marcum of Kermit, WV, Wanda Eslick of Dunlow, WV and Leonard Ray Stroud of Kermit, WV as well as many friend, family and church family. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at 12 p.m. at the Richmond-Callaham Funeral Home, Warfield Chapel with Jesse Allen officiating. Burial will follow in the Perry Point Cemetery of Jennies Creek, WV. Arrangements are under the direction of the Richmond-Callaham Funeral Home, Inez, Ky.
