Rosalee Clay of Fort Gay
Rosalee Clay, 67, of Mill Creek Road, Fort Gay, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington. She was born on February 3, 1944 in Wayne County; she was a daughter of the late Lark and Delcie Hodge Perry. Rosalee was a homemaker and a member of the Fort Gay Church of God. She was preceded in death by her sister, Hanamae Perry Marcum. Rosalee is survived by her husband Curtis Clay of Fort Gay as well as children, Lisa (Doug) Whitt of Crum, Billie (Evertt) Lyons of Louisa, and Amanda (Dennis Jr.) McCoy of Ashland. She also leaves behind a very special grandson, Cory Brewer of Kermit as well as grandchildren William Daryll, Missy, Jessica, Natasha, Tyler, Jamie, Braxton, and Colton as well as great-grandchildren. Rosalee leaves behind two brothers and three sisters; Daniel (Maxine) Perry of Dunlow, Virgil (Helen) Perry of Kermit, Sally (Don) Primmer of Owingsville, Ernest Hall of Owingsville and Imajean Messer of Crum. Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday, December 20 at 1 p.m. at the Welcome Home Church with Daniel Perry and Ray Messer Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Lark Perry Cemetery of Jennies Creek. Visitation was after 11 a.m. at the Welcome Center Church on Monday, December 19, 2011 until the time of service. Arrangements are under the direction of Richmond-Callaham Funeral Home, Inez, Ky.
