Mr. W.C. Maynard of Smyrna, Tenn, formerly Wayne County

MR. W.C. MAYNARD, age 89, of Smyrna, Tenn., and a native of Wayne County, West Virginia, passed away March 27, 2021. Mr. Maynard worked in the Paper Mill Industry for forty-nine years. He was a member of the Church of Christ and served as an elder. He was preceded in death by his wife of sixty-two years, Jenny Queen Maynard; his parents, Larkin and Eula Cox Maynard; brother, Clayton Maynard. He is survived by two children, David (Rita) Maynard of Lebanon, Tenn., Vickie (Dwane) Tankersley of Maumelle, Ark; three granddaughters, Lacey (Brandon) Johnson, Lauren (Will) Drennen, Shelby (Jordan) Cantrell; three great-granddaughters, Hallie and Haidyn Johnson, Avery Grace Drennen. There will be a graveside service held in May at Oaklawn Cemetery in Searcy, Ark. Ligon and Bobo Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. www.ligonbobo.com.
