Hello all, I hope your week has been going well and you all had a wonderful Easter.
I certainly did, which was quite a blessing as the last week has been a bit rough. But, that’s life sometimes. However, the weather was perfect and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better weekend. I got to get some things ready for my garden then spent Sunday at church and sitting outside with family.
Since I was going to actually get to go to church this year (last year was a no-go due to covid), I really wanted a new dress. I looked and looked, but everywhere I found one I liked they were at least $40.
Then I found this one, on sale at Kohl’s for $25, it had originally been $50. They had an offer code for an additional amount off, so I was able to snag it for right around $20. I am so glad I did, too, because it ended up being absolutely perfect. It fit great, was super comfortable, and the print and colors were just right for spring.
One great thing about this dress is that it’s a wrap dress, so it’s pretty flattering on anyone. And this one doesn’t have all the hassle of actually having to wrap it yourself like others I have had in the past. You just tie the belt and go.
The length was another selling point; since it was long enough to wear with heels, but not too long that I would end up looking like a dumpy troll. I have had these heels for a few years now and have only worn them once before. They were a Gabe’s purchase for around $8! I had been wanting a reason to wear them and this dress fit the bill.
I often forget about Kohl’s, even though they usually have pretty awesome sales. Remember the gray sweater I told you about around Christmas? That was from Kohl’s too! I need to keep them in mind more and remember that I always get a good deal there. Especially when I have just about given up shopping everywhere else. Plus, you can’t beat this $20 dress. It will most definitely be my go to for a while.
Have a great week and happy shopping!
